岗位职责

PRIMARYPURPOSE:DefineandexecutetheproductdevelopmentandstrategyoftheautomotiveconnectorproductsinChina.Responsibleforproductdevelopment,portfolio,roadmapanddrivingimprovementplansexternallytogainmarketshareandinternallytoimproveprofitability.DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:1.LeadtheproductlifecycleandportfoliomanagementactivitiesintheChinamarket.2.WorkwithGlobalProductManagertodefineandexecutepricingstrategyandmanufacturingfootprintforautomotiveconnectorproductportfolio,includingcompilationofcompetitivepricepointstomanageupcomingpriceerosioninthemarket.3.Responsibleforproductlinetransactionalactivitiesthroughdailycollaborationwithsales,engineering,andthemanufacturingfacilities.4.Developsoundpointofviewsontechnology,product,customer,competitorsandmarkettrendsandactionthemintostrategiesforproductlineandprofitgrowth.5.Interfacewithcustomersinthedevelopmentofspecificationsandtechnicalrefinements,whichcanbeusedtodirectthedevelopmentofderivatives,improvements,ornewproducts.6.Driveprocessimprovements,efficiencies,andbestpracticeknowledgesharingacrossamatrixorganization7.WorkinteractivelywithMolexmanagement,engineering,manufacturing,andsalestofosterahighlyresponsiveteamenvironmentdedicatedtoprovidingcustomerspecificsolutionsinatimelyandcost-effectivemanner.8.Interactdirectlywithmanufacturingplanttoleadcostreductionefforts,capacityplanning,andqualityimprovementinitiatives.9.Developingrangeofoutcomesandeconomicstudyforthenewproducts,responsibleandaccountableforthenewproductprofitandreturns.10.Responsibleformeetingbothrevenueandprofittargetsfortheresponsibleproductfamily.11.Domestictravelrequired(20%)WHOWEARELOOKINGFOR1.Bachelor’sdegreeinatechnicalorbusinessdiscipline.2.3+yearspriorProductdevelopmentexperienceinproductmanagement,projectmanagement,sales,ormarketing.3.Abilitytotranslatecompanyanddivisionvisionintoobjectivesthataremeaningfulandattainable.4.Willingnesstoembraceachallengeprocessbyraisingideas,solutions,andissuesacrosstheorganization5.Strongautomotiveconnectororha
